Established in 1996 by the late Brian Mulligan, Mulligans Funeral & Monumental Services Ltd has become a trusted name in funeral care across Manchester, Stockport, and the Northwest. After years with a corporate provider, Brian saw a need for more compassionate, personalised services, leading him to open our first family-run funeral home in Clayton, Manchester. From those small beginnings, we’ve grown into a family business known for dignity, respect, and unwavering professionalism.

Today, Mulligans is led by Karen, Brian’s daughter, who continues her father’s vision of compassionate, bespoke services. Together with a team of highly experienced funeral directors, each with decades of expertise, Karen has expanded our offerings to include not only traditional funerals but also direct cremation, a growing choice for families seeking affordability without compromising on dignity and personalisation.
